  Bluetooth Audio?
Posted by: AI5CT - 02-24-2022, 09:22 PM - Forum: General Discussions - No Replies

I have paired my B1+ with my truck and my Air Pods Max via bluetooth.  Neither of them pass audio from the RFinder app through the headset.  I am hoping to be able to listen to this unit via bluetooth audio.  Does anyone have this working and/or know if there is a setting/option I need to enable to make it work?  Thank you.

  T-Mobile bands

I am planning on using T-Mobile for my new service.  Switching from Verizon.  I have talked to several T-Mobile reps and all have said the phone will only work part of the time.  They said the B1 need Band 66.  Has that been an issue for anyone?

How to Import Rfinder software search/export
Posted by: n1djs - 02-18-2022, 10:02 AM - Forum: General Discussions - No Replies

Under location search in the rfinder software webpage, the possibility to export a list exists:
 FORMAT: CSV-AvMap/Garmin TPE-TravelPlus CSV-TomTom Import CSV-CHIRP Import

Which of those formats do I use to use to export for the "restore from file" or "import zone" RFinder Edit Memories functionality on the web?

I recently purchased a B! and am in the process of configuring it. I have a DMR id and entered it. On the same screen, I need to put in a registration id but am unable to locate it.

Any help is appreciated.

Thx

Big Grin RFinder Development Breakthrough
Posted by: k7gps.dave - 02-09-2022, 12:26 PM - Forum: Development - No Replies

Version 12 of the RFinder app is now available on the Google Play Store, as of Feb 7th, and is proving very stable. All users should be updating their devices, B1, B1+, P2, and P10 to the latest apk and ROM. You will see options to download both ROM and apk. Do both. After you've installed, remember to do 2-3 Force Updates, if needed, or device restarts, so the ROM and app both get full installations. In some cases you may need to re-install, but so far the process is very smooth, and performance is outstanding.

If you're an old hand at the RFinder, there is no more FOTA update. You will get a message that the server can't be connected. In a future update the FOTA reference will be removed.

Your best source for help is on the RFinder Facebook page. You can also submit a support ticket direct from the RFinder device. That is the preferred method of reaching out for help. You can also contact via RFinder Ticket Support.

Check out the new world map of RFinder devices. When properly configured, and activated, other users can now see where you are on the map. Look here: RFinder user map

See you on the airwaves!

  B1+ RFinder Widget not updating
Posted by: K7BBS - 02-08-2022, 10:23 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - No Replies

Just wondering if the Widget is supposed to be working? It worked for a little bit only updating the call sign but the RX,TX,Radio ID, Mode, Power, Stat are blank..

I've removed the widget and re-added it and no luck.

Any way... I'm a new B1+ owner and love being part of something new. I like the new features going from 11 to 12.. and as things updated through the beta's..  Heart

How to lock the android screen?
Posted by: philztoy - 02-02-2022, 09:07 AM - Forum: General Discussions - No Replies

I  like the radio. A couple of times I had the radio tuned only to hit the screen and have the radio disappear.  Is there a way to lock the screen to keep it in the radio mode?  I am not that familiar with the android operating system phones.
