Q: Where is the Mic Gain control?
A: Very well hidden:
Go to Settings/System/About Phone,
scroll down to Custom build version.
Tap this 5 times fast and Tap Phone Test.
On the next page, Tap Intercom Test.
You will now see a keypad and at the bottom center there is a Gear icon.
Tap the Gear icon and you will see a setting at the bottom of the screen called Mic gain option.
Tap this to set your Level (1-9) I have mine at 7.

Q: I have a SIM card that’s too small to fit in my RFinder B1. Am I SOL?
A: No. There are a couple options. Check around your local tech shopping stops for an adaptor that will convert your nano-SIM card (the size commonly used in cell phones and wifi hotspots now) to the format required, micro-SIM on the RFinder B1, or swap your SIM card for another one from your cellular provider.

Q: Can I manually program my own set of frequencies into the RFinder B1?
A: Yes, you can manually program frequencies, like the national simplex calling frequencies, or your local hotspot into the RFinder B1, or local public service frequencies for police and fire monitoring. An easier option though is using https://web.rfinder.net, enter your RFinder account credentials, and clicking the link “Manage RFinder Radio Android Memories”. That will bring up a page where you can add and save Zones and frequency info, then import them to the radio. Note: When you enter these data into your RFinder account, they are stored on the cloud. After entering data on web.rfinder.net, go to the radio and navigate to “Cloud Restore Memories”, and the new memory zones you entered on computer will show on the radio. After “importing” the data to the radio, you can now select FM Narrow or Wide band, and adjust other settings as needed.
