Meaning of Red TX Light Patterns When TX |

I'm wondering if some one would be so kind as to give me a bit of a run down in what the red TX light is telling me when it blikcs or goes on briefly as opposed throughout TX. Bob mentioned it in passing yesterday on the phone...I am almost exclusively a HotSpot user, with few DMR repeaters within reach here, but as I try too hit a few, it'd be helpful to know what the light is telling me.
In this scenario, the RFinder B1 shows me (3) Repeaters in my town, allegedly all on 444.000:
#1 WX1NH Hartford (VT) 444.000 (-5.0) PL 0 DMR/MARC
#2 WX1NH Hartford (VT) 444.000 (-5.0) DMR/MARC PL 0 <<<<<< (same exact listed again)
#3 N1DAS White River Jct (VT) [note still within Hartford, VT) 444.000 (-5.0) PL o
Presumably these are all the same machine, but at least two have wrong info??? I'm at 800 ft and 3 miles from one LAT/LON and 5.6 from the other. After choosing the one TG listed, 'TS:2 GC:9 - Local or Reflector,If I key up on the first one, the red LED blinks once briefly.
#2 gets same response
#3 the red LED stays on thru PTT, no respons
...I get it that may be all of the data is wrong may be??... but having scoured the one page manual for the B1 I didn't see anything on the red TX LED. .....that's fine, but having scoured the one page manual I am still curious what the LED is indicating???

Setting up a HCP-1 |

Forgive me if this has been asked. I just got a HCP-1. It will be for my use only. Do I have to set it up as a repeater or is there a easier path?
Does it need a DMR radio ID for it ?
Thanks, I have ZERO experience with DMR but I will get there. I registered with radioid today but have not heard back yet.
I assume that they will give the ID when they do or is it a different process to get that once registered?

How do I update firmware on RFinder B1? |

A: 1. Quit all applications in process on the B1. Make sure your battery is fully charged. This process should take 10-15 minutes. New settings and APKs are being loaded. This takes time. Watch this video on YouTube first:
https://www.google.com/search?q=update+f...TxvqHYAg11
Many thanks to M0VXT for the video.
2. Go to Settings
3. Scroll down to System and select
4. Scroll down to About phone and select
5. Select System Upgrade
6. Select Remote Updates (if you don't have the update loaded onto the device)
7. Note the Current System Version (in case it's already up to date)
8. Select Version Check.
9. Follow the prompts to download, install, and boot the new firmware.

non-existent support |

RFinder has done a good job of bribing YouTube reviewers, but support for this product doesn't exist from RFinder. That will be my review on YT and other related online sources. If I wanted a troubled product, I could have built a Pi-Star for 1/4 the price. Too bad RFinder has dropped the ball or never intended to carry it.

Q: Where is the Mic Gain control?
A: Very well hidden:
Go to Settings/System/About Phone,
scroll down to Custom build version.
Tap this 5 times fast and Tap Phone Test.
On the next page, Tap Intercom Test.
You will now see a keypad and at the bottom center there is a Gear icon.
Tap the Gear icon and you will see a setting at the bottom of the screen called Mic gain option.
Tap this to set your Level (1-9) I have mine at 7.
